The 100Km of the Forts is all year round!

Not only a race for true enthusiasts, but also a spectacular trail to be enjoyed all year round. The routes of the 100 km of the Forts run in fact among some of the most beautiful landscapes in Trentino, in an uncontaminated territory where you can test yourself and your resistance, alone or in company.

The tracks are perfectly signposted through permanent wooden signs, so you can choose when to enjoy hours of exciting and panoramic rides.

A true biker cannot fail to challenge these exciting 3,150 meters of altitude at least once in his life! But don't worry, you don't have to face all 100 km in one day. The trail is in fact composed of three sequent paths that close in a ring, therefore doable also separately:

 

  • 53,2 km on the territory of Folgaria (recommended departure from Passo del Sommo)
  • 23,6 km on the territory of Lavarone (access from Palù Park)
  • 39,3 km on the territory of Luserna.

 

In this way, based on your strength, you can choose whether to continue pedaling or stop at one of the many bike hotel along the way and restart the adventure the next day.

 

A ride between history and nature

Not just a way to have fun on your bike and test your resistance: the 100 km of the Forts is the perfect opportunity to experience intense days in naturalistic environments of rare beauty. You will cycle through the pastures and along the characteristic rural roads of the Alpe Cimbra, you will meet the majestic centuries-old fir trees that guard our woods and, in the chalets that you will find on the tracks, you will have the opportunity to taste the typical products of the area.

Taking part on the 100km of the Forts means taking a step back in time: following the roads that made up the military road system during the First World War, you will be able to reach and explore the Seven Fortresses of the Emperor, as well as stop to observe the trenches and the numerous testimonies of the First World War.
